Potential employers of Philip Barbour High School students are invited to send a representative recruiter to the Barbour Chamber’s Career Fair on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 7th in the school’s Commons Room. 

Forty tables have been reserved on a first-come-first-served basis where employers may set up displays, distribute literature, and collect contact information from students inquiring about future employment their company or agency.

Recruiters will move in between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m. in Philip Barbour’s Commons Room.  Members of the school’s Senior Class will circulate from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. when the Junior Class will begin their visit with the recruiters.  Students will return to their classrooms and tables dismantled at 3:00 p.m.

Several company and industrial representatives who attended last year’s Career Day at Philip Barbour (pictured above) plan to return for the Career Fair, chaired by attorney Hunter Mullens of Mullens & Mullens, PLLC.  Employers wishing to participate in this year’s Career Fair must register with the Barbour County Chamber of Commerce, 101 College Hill Drive, Box 2124, Philippi 26416.  The deadline for registration is October 21st.  Further information may be obtained by calling (304) 457-1958, or by E-mailing This email address is being protected from spambots.
