Broaddus Hospital and New Vision/GLOgames are the Barbour County Chamber of Commerce Members of the Month in February.

Dana Gould, seated, is the Chief Executive Officer of the Broaddus Hospital Association.  Ruston Seaman is the Director of New Vision/GLOgames.

Dana Gould has been the Chief Executive Officer at Broaddus Hospital since 2017, having served for fifteen years as the Corporate Compliance and Privacy Officer for the Davis Health System.  She has also served at the Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, and at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

Gould stresses that Broaddus Hospital is staffed by many local residents and offers a home atmosphere to those whom they serve.  Broaddus provides multiple services 24 hours each day, 7 days per week, including an emergency department, inpatient skilled nursing, outpatient services, laboratory and X-Ray, rehabilitation services, family practice, and an in-house nursing facility called Mansfield Place.

Gould holds a Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, and graduated from Philip Barbour High School.  She is a member of the Health Care Compliance Association and the American Health Information Management Association.  Broaddus Hospital is located at 1 Healthcare Drive in Philippi, telephone 457-1760.

A graduate of Alderson Broaddus College and Eastern Baptist Seminary, Ruston Seaman has 35 years of non-profit leadership experience, having worked for Appalachian Community Care, World Servants, World Vision, and, for the past ten years, New Vision.  He is the minister of the Peoples Chapel Church.

New Vision/GLOgames is a 501 c-3 non-profit Christian Community Development organization dedicated to mentoring youth, re-energizing communities, and bringing lighting into the world.  Their for-profit GLOgames LLC designs and produces high-quality 21st Century electronic recreational products for recreational spaces around the globe.  New Vision is also a leader in the Bright Futures Substance Use Prevention Coalition in Barbour County. 

New Vision operates the community education and recreational facility in the Chestnut Ridge community and manufactures and sells Ray of Life solar-powered LED lights.  They have placed over 4,000 units in 39 nations.  Their GLOgames sells the world’s only LED basketball rim lights and has designs for the Super Seven Sports Arena and other community recreational ideas.
