A large crowd of well-wishers were on hand to mark the opening of the Tygart Valley Supply Store at 100 South Crim Avenue in Belington.
The store’s products and services include hardware, plumbing supplies, animal feed, and seasonal items.
Owner Joshua Raschella has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and a Master’s Degree in Logistics and Transportation. He is a Sergeant Major in the West Virginia National Guard and a combat veteran with over twenty years of experience. He served two overeas deployments in Operation Iraqui Freedom and Operation New Dawn.
Co-owner Shawntra Raschella has an Associate’s Degree in Dietary Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety. The Tygart Valley Supply Store’s website, now under construction, is www.tygartvalleysupply.com or they may be called at (304) 823-2700.
Tygart Valley Supply continues a long history of service on the banks of the Tygart Valley River in Belington. The original Belington Farm Store was established in 1940 and was the major source in town for hardware, feed, home and farm supplies. The new store will continue to excel in family-oriented customer service as a veteran and family-owned business, offering updated products while modernizing through E-Commerce, say the Raschellas.
The new store is open Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will close on Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. Tygart Valley Supply, however, will provide an emergency telephone and text number in case of emergencies.
