Barbour Bowling Lanes and Margarita’s Mexican Grill & Cantina, are the Barbour County Chamber of Commerce Members of the Month in October.

Barbour Lanes bowling alley includes a snack bar and video games in addition to fun bowling and good food. “We offer a clean and safe environment for young people and families to come and have a good time,” says Elmore who served four years in the U. S. Coast Guard, whose family comes from Yokuska, Japan and who was raised in Maryland and Virginia.

Margarita’s Mexican Grill and Cantina offers a variety of fresh, hot food, says Jimenez, and “not only is the food delicious but when you walk-in we make you family. Sometimes I tease that people come in for our tacos and sarcasm”, she says.
“Our little restaurant is one of Philippi’s best-kept secrets,” Jimenez says. “Our food has its own unique flavor and our service is the same. People come for tacos and get laughs and sarcasm. We will quickly become one of your favorite places to relax and visit,” she promises.
Jody is married to Mauricio Jimenez, who has worked in the Mexican food industry for more than fifteen years. Jody was previously employed by the Harrison County Board of Education.
