A large crowd of agency-heads, employees, and well-wishers marked the completed renovation of the Peoples Bank in Philippi.

Peoples Bank may be a top 200 bank in the United States, but it prides itself as a community bank, headquartered in a small town along the Ohio River. Peoples Bank is proud to invest in Barbour County and looks forward to building and expanding relationships with the community.

“We are very excited to celebrate our one year being in the Philippi community. We look forward to serving our current and future customers in Philippi and the surrounding communities.” said Branch Manager Amanda Wagner.  Regional Manager Ashley Brown added, “This past year has been filled with learning and growth.  We are thrilled to be part of the Barbour County Community.  With our dedicated staff, community focus, and enhanced products and services, we have something for everyone.”

Headquartered in Marietta, Ohio since 1902, Peoples Bank is a top 200 bank in the United States with 113 full-service bank branches in Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, Washington D.C. and Maryland. Peoples Bank's vision is to be the Best Community Bank in America while being a diversified financial services holding company offering a full range of banking, trust and investment, insurance, premium financing, and equipment-leasing solutions.
