The Barbour Chamber’s Annual Golf Tournament scheduled for September 8th at the Barbour Country Club will assist students at Philip Barbour School.
The tournament’s shotgun start is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Skills prizes in the form of golf certificates from West Virginia golf courses will be awarded and there is a $10,000 reward for a hole-in-one. The winning team will earn a cash prize of $500, runners-up $300.
Hole sponsorships are still available, and teams of four receive golf, the use of a cart, lunch compliments of Broaddus Hospital, cold beverages from the Barbour Health Association and a chance at door prizes donated by Chamber members. Vice President Ed Larry will assist with registration where there will be a 50-50 drawing.
